System and Network Engineer (m/f/d) - Fulltime

The complexity, requirements and tasks are constantly increasing: Therefore we are looking for new team players (m/f/d).


As System and Network Engineer (m/f/d) you will contribute to our CyberSecurity program. You will actively participate in exciting projects in our company, at our customers and in our worldwide business network.
You should have a solid background in network design, network administration and Linux administration and ideally knowledge of (future) threats (cybersecurity) in the financial services sector.
In addition to professional and communication skills, social skills are very important to us.


  • Administration and optimization of the existing network infrastructure, in particular the network design (routing / switching).
  • Design and further development of the network infrastructure according to the requirements of the forensic areas.
  • Monitoring of suspicious network activities and abnormal system access.
  • Further development and maintenance of rules for network firewalls and intrusion detection systems to protect the infrastructure.
  • Administration of server infrastructure with a focus on Linux OS.
  • Staff monitoring of suspicious network activity and abnormal system access.
  • Optimization of sensitive infrastructure components against unauthorized access and/or misuse.
    Ensure high availability of the test environment.
  • Support of the expert team in analyzing potential malicious code as well as forensic activities.


  • Master’s Degree, preferably with a focus on IT security and/or computer networks, from an accredited college, university or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of network architectures, especially with regards to distributed work environments relevant protocols across the different OSI layers.
  • CCNA/CCNP certification (ideally CyberOps).
  • CCDA/CCDP certification (ideally CyberOps / Security).
  • (Very) good knowledge with Linux operating systems as well as knowledge in system hardening and corresponding security measures.
  • Used to be working on the command line, and capability of automating tasks with the help of (shell) scripting languages within a short amount of time.
  • Experience with supervising and maintaining laboratory or test environments is considered a significant plus.
  • Fluent language and excellent communication skills in English is required.
  • Strong team player and good social skills.
